Before You Book

Because you like my images and want to be a part of the world as I see it. Nothing else really matters.

If you need more:

As a member of Professional Photographers of America, I earned my Certified Professional Photographer credential in 2018. Translation: I am technically proficient with a camera and have a decent industry network.

I have been published in digital and print magazines. I have also done art exhibitions, book covers, product photography, and commercial work for clients. Yes, even a few weddings.

Information on session pricing can be found above. There is no obligation to spend anything beyond the session price you selected. Many clients enjoy purchasing additional images, signature prints, wall art, folio boxes and more.

Weekends and weekday evenings are the easiest option, but I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. During my busier season, sessions are scheduled about one month in advance.

We can meet in my residential studio or on location. Please keep travel expenses in mind if going far afield. Most of my gear is portable and I can come to you.

I enjoy working with qualified Hair and Make-Up Artists (H/MUAs). Their work is valuable in helping you look your best! A quality H/MUA professional will require additional payment (usually made to them), so please budget for this option. I highly recommend their services as it can take a great photo session and make it even better!

The Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering licenses and regulates a number of service professions from haircutting to make-up application. QuestionMark Photography recognizes and respects the work necessary to meet those requirements. If an H/MUA is to be involved during the session, I ask that they be properly licensed for your health and safety.

The Session

We meet at the time and place agreed upon. We will take care of any paperwork, including payment, first to avoid distractions during the session. Then, we work together to create photographs you will love for the allotted time. On occasion, I will give you a chance to review a few images to show you how great you look and to let you know that all is well.

Session times vary from a 15-minute "Quickshot" to two or more hours. Half- and Full-days are available for those serious portfolio building needs.

Experience shows that individuals not participating directly in the session may become a distraction. However, if you aren't comfortable, that will show in the images, too. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Be aware that they may be asked to "assist" on set (helping fix fly-away hair, holding a reflecter, etc.). All I ask is that you let me know who to expect and, if possible, avoid bringing more than one additional person unless we have made other arrangements. My humble home studio has limited space for additional guests.

After The Session

Images are uploaded to my hard drive and backed up for safe keeping. I will then cull the images down to the best of the best, do basic color correction, cropping, etc to prepare your proofs. You will then have an opportunity to review the proofs in an online gallery.

Your proofs are posted to a secure, online gallery for review at your leisure. If you prefer, we can also view them together in my home studio (something which works great for quick headshot sessions). The online gallery will remain available to you for two weeks. During this time, you can buy additional images and/or prints.

Proofs will be available within two weeks of your session. In most cases, proofs are posted within 48 hours of our session.

Edits are completed within two weeks of selecting your favorites from the proofs. In most cases, edits are delivered within 24-48 hours.

Printed Products take a bit longer. Photo prints can be delivered within a week of ordering. Framed prints, canvas, albums, and other high-quality options may take as much as 3-4 weeks.

In most cases, your time from the session to final delivery of DIGITAL products will happen within 1-2 weeks. PHYSICAL products can usually be expected in 30 days.

Product Selection

We offer a variety of physical prints from traditional paper to amazing metals. We also have digital options that cover social media sharing to custom electronic galleries. If you have seen it, odds are good that I have a vendor who can provide the materials of your choice.

I am constantly reviewing the products I offer to make sure I can bring the very best to you. I am currently using eight vendors, most specializing in a few key products. In most cases, I have personally met my vendors and have developed a good, working relationship. They want to give you their best, too. These are the same products I use in my own home and I will be happy to give you the chance to inspect a sample. I can also tell you a few "horror stories" about bad products if you're into that sort of thing.

I have done limited graphic design work. Each Fall, I work with some of my favorite clients to create unique holiday cards for their families. I occasionally work with clients to create business cards and other marketing materials for their personal business ventures as well. Please feel free to inquire about your next project!

Special Notes

In Oklahoma, most photographic services and products are taxable, including any session fee. As a registered business, we are required to remit sales tax to the city, county, and state as defined by the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Digital images delivered as a physical product (i.e. CD or USB) will include sales tax as required by the tax commission. Listed prices do not include sales tax.

I love fun, creative collaborations with experienced models. If you have a proposal for an amicable agreement, I will be happy to discuss it. At a bare minimum, any agreement should result in a collaboration that provides both parties with something new and useful for their portfolio.
